The Sephora spring sale is here (!) and I’ve rounded up all of my current obsessions and am sharing what I currently have in my cart. I won’t be breaking down every single one of my favorite products (but if you’re interested, I have all my favorite skincare products listed here) and will instead be sharing the products that I haven’t been able to stop reaching for these last few months (+ will continue to reach for into the warmer months) that I think are worth your money.

Rouge – April 9-19 | 20% Discount
VIB – April 13-19 | 15% Discount

If you’re Rouge, this is the perfect opportunity to stock up on all your favorites at a great discount. For VIB and Insiders, you may find deeper discounts if you shop directly through your favorite brands. I’m a VIB, and while 15% isn’t an extraordinary discount, I’ll be picking up some products I’ve been wanting to try who generally don’t offer sales on their own websites.
Let’s dive in! If you’re interested in more of my Sephora sale picks, I have more listed here.
SKINCARE
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm ($34) – Double cleansing is a must in my skincare routine, and Green Clean has been my go-to cleansing balms for years. I’ve repurchased this over and over; it easily breaks down makeup, sunscreen, and impurities while leaving skin feeling soft and nourished. I’ve tried many other cleansing balms, but always come back to this one. It also comes with a plastic spatula that fits inside of the jar so you always have it handy (it’s the little things). If you’re not Rouge and want to save some extra coin, you can save 20% off your Farmacy order with my affiliate code RACHAEL20.
Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser ($36) – It’s no secret that I prefer milky cleansers, but warm weather usually has me opting for lighter gel cleansers like this one from Youth To The People. It’s my favorite gel cleanser – it’s so lightweight and gentle; it’s non-stripping and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, and it’s packed with a ton of nourishing ingredients. It works well as a morning cleanser or second cleanser at night. If you’re not Rouge or VIB or want to shop directly though the brand, you can save 15% off Youth To The People with my affiliate code RACHAEL15.
REN Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner ($38) – This exfoliating toner packs a punch. I use this 1-2x a week to keep my skin texture under control, as the AHAs in the formula work to rapidly turnover dead skin cells and promote renewal. It helps keep texture at bay and gives my skin a natural, healthy glow.
Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C Serum ($64) – A vitamin C serum is a staple in my morning routine, and I used this bottle down to the very last drop. It has a lightweight gel texture that absorbs instantly and doesn’t cause any pilling, and it’s packed with brightening and hydrating ingredients. This is a perfect one-and-done morning serum, and I am completely obsessed with it.
Youth To The People15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum ($68) – I started testing this serum after emptying the Summer Fridays, and I don’t know which one I love more. Like the Summer Fridays, this is formulated with brightening and nourishing ingredients and has a lightweight gel texture that sinks in instantly. No pilling whatsoever, and the light ginger scent smells refreshing. If you told me to pick one between the two, I wouldn’t know which one to pick – just know they’re both solid vitamin C options. If you’re not Rouge or VIB or want to shop directly though the brand, you can save 15% off Youth To The People with my affiliate code RACHAEL15.
Farmacy FILLING GOOD hyaluronic acid plumping serum ($44) – A hydrating serum is essential in my night routine, and Filling Good has easily become my favorite. I love the lightweight, creamy gel texture as it absorbs nicely and layers well with other products. It’s incredibly nourishing and plumping, and I love the honey scent. If you’re not Rouge and want to save some extra coin, you can save 20% off your Farmacy order with my affiliate code RACHAEL20.
Shani Darden Skin Care Texture Reform™ ($88) – Texture Reform was my first foray into retinol, and it was the perfect beginners option for my sensitive skin. It was gentle and didn’t cause any irritation, and the lactic acid in the formula also helped to gently exfoliate. I highly recommend grabbing this on sale if you’re new to retinol and have been looking to start.
Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream Moisturizer ($42) – I started testing this gel cream during the winter and fully expected it to not be nourishing enough for my combo skin, but it surprisingly was! Even as the weather got warmer, this left my skin feeling hydrated and balanced all day without feeling heavy or greasy. I can’t recommend this moisturizer enough.
Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Face Cream ($50) – An amazing, effective, no-frills moisturizer that I didn’t expect to love so much. I used this as a day cream in the winter, but as the weather got warmer, I started using it at night. It’s incredibly nourishing and has become my go-to moisturizer on active/retinol nights to ensure my barrier is protected to avoid irritation.
Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Oil ($44) – I love a good facial oil, and this is one of my absolute favorites. It absorbs quickly, brightens + hydrates, and gives my skin a healthy glow. I like to use this after my moisturizer to seal in all the goodness from my routine, or use it to prep my skin for foundation for a flawless finish. If you’re not Rouge or VIB or want to shop directly though the brand, you can save 15% off Youth To The People with my affiliate code RACHAEL15.
Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ ($68) – I tend to opt for chemical sunscreens in order to avoid a white cast on my skin, but this mineral sunscreen leaves zero cast. Zero. It’s magic. It’s exorbitantly expensive, but with how well it wears on my skin (and protects my skin, more importantly!), I guess I can’t complain too much (but I still will). Definitely worth snagging at a discount.
innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 36 ($15) – This is one of my favorite chemical sunscreens, and for the price, it can’t be beat. It doesn’t leave a cast, leaves a glowing finish, and layers well under makeup.
MAKEUP
Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Highlighter ($25) – A glowy makeup essential. This is a lightweight illuminator (no shimmer or glitter here) that provides the skin with a healthy glow, whether worn alone, underneath makeup, mixed in with your foundation, or worn on the high points of your face. I love mixing it in with my foundations for a glow boost.
Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer SPF 35 Sunscreen ($32) – I tend to only reach for tinted moisturizers or skin tints in the warmer months, and I haven’t been able to stop reaching for this since it launched several months ago. It’s meant to have sheer coverage; a pump and a half works well to even out my skin tone for natural-looking skin. It’s very hydrating on its own and does need to be set with powder in areas where I get oily, but it wears well on my skin throughout the day. I recommend wearing your normal sunscreen underneath this, as you would need several pumps to achieve adequate SPF coverage, and it would most likely feel too heavy on your skin and the color would potentially be off.
MERIT The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick ($38) – I am so, so obsessed with this. It doubles as a foundation and concealer, and I absolutely love a product where I can knock out both of those steps. I love prepping my skin with a facial oil, then working this in with a dense brush. It melts into the skin flawlessly; it blends seamlessly and looks so natural. It’s also buildable, so I can add more of the product where I need more coverage and it still looks natural. It wears on my skin beautifully throughout the day, and I rarely see transfer on my cloth face mask after a quick grocery store run. I can’t recommend this enough.
MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush ($28) – These blushes are incredibly creamy. I have all 5 shades, and they’re all stunning, but Terracotta is my favorite. These are a bit sheer and aren’t as pigmented as heavier cream blushes; these feel lightweight on the skin and blend out beautifully for a subtle flush. They’re only slightly buildable, so if you’re looking for more pigment, I would skip this. If you’re into sheer blush, this is for you.
Danessa Myricks Beauty Vision Flush Cheek, Eye, and Lip Color ($20) – I discovered these last year and immediately fell in love. The liquid formula can be used on the cheeks, eyes + lips, and a little goes a long way. It’s a liquid formula that blends out nicely and wears comfortably on the skin. Seriously, the pigment is insane.
Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix Eye, Cheek & Lip Cream Pigment ($18) – These creamy pigments can also be used on the cheeks, eyes + lip and come in a wide range of shades and shimmers and glazes. I love the mattes to create a monochromatic look, and the glazes to add some gloss or highlight to my look. They’re long-lasting and highly pigmented!
MERIT Day Glow Highlighting Balm ($30) – This is my favorite cream highlighter; it doesn’t break me out and it gives a very natural, subtle glow to the skin. It’s not chunky and it doesn’t visibly sink into my pores – just a natural glow.
Benefit Cosmetics 24-HR Brow Setter Clear Eyebrow Gel ($24) – This brow gel has impressive hold – it keeps my stubborn brows held up all day.
ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara ($28) – This was my holy grail mascara for most of 2020, but my lashes started to rebel against it, so I had to find something else. I have straight, stubborn lashes that refuse to hold a curl, along with oily lids that lead to mascara smudging. After several months of testing other mascaras, I picked this one up again and fell back in love. It lengthens, separates, and thickens my lashes with ease, and is one of the only mascaras I’ve tried that doesn’t smudge on my oily lids. It’s not the the greatest as holding a curl, and I do experience some flaking with this, but until I find a superior mascara, this is it.
MERIT Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil ($24) – I’m not wearing many lip products these days due to masks, but when I am, I reach for something that’s also going to nourish my lips. I love these lip oils – the formula is nice and the shades are gorgeous.
HAIR
Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil ($87) – This hair oil is crazy expensive, but fuck, it’s so good. It nourishes my dry ends without weighing down my hair, and just looks gorgeous on my shelf. I definitely recommend grabbing this while it’s on sale! Also, a little goes a long way, and the full-size bottle will easily last you well over a year.
OUAI Super Dry Shampoo ($24) – One of my favorite dry shampoos. It absorbs oil while adding volume to my roots, and it smells great.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo ($42) – This is my favorite scrub shampoo for removing scalp buildup. The particles are very fine and wash out of the hair easily, while leaving the scalp feeling balanced.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Hair Mask ($36) – I skip conditioner when I wash my hair and go straight for a hair mask. This is easily a favorite – it’s lightweight, doesn’t weigh my hair down, and leaves my hair feeling soft and nourished.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Serum ($32) – Even with scrub shampoos and hydrating treatments, my scalp still experiences dry flakes. A few drops of this massaged into my scalp after washing helps to combat dry flakes and keep my scalp looking healthy until I wash again a few days later.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($48) – This is the best texturizing wave spray that has ever graced my hair, but at $48, I always try to snag it on sale.
OUAI Wave Spray ($26) – This is my favorite, more affordable wave spray compared to the Oribe. It also isn’t as heavily fragranced as Oribe, which is something to note if you’re sensitive to fragrances.
BODY
Nécessaire The Body Lotion ($25) – I’m not one to splurge on body products, but when I do, it’s for Necessaire. The Body Lotion is fragrance-free and is packed with so many nourishing ingredients. It absorbs quickly and deeply nourishing my incredibly dry skin. I’ve gone through several bottles and will continue to repurchase. They rarely offer sales on their website, so the Sephora sale is a great time to pick it up.
Nécessaire The Body Wash ($25) – I’m also definitely not one to splurge on body washes, but these are worth it. Not only do they lather beautifully, but the fragrances they offer are stunning. It’s a body wash I can easily share with my boyfriend as the fragrances are unisex and enticing. They also make for great gifts! Eucalyptus might be my favorite scent because of how it fills my shower with its calming fragrance.
Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator ($30) – This combines physical and chemical exfoliants to gently slough away dead skin. It leaves my skin feeling and looking healthy!
Nécessaire The Hand Cream ($20) – I’m also obsessed with their hand cream – fragrance-free and ultra nourishing.
Nécessaire The Sex Gel ($20) – Worth it. Get it.
